Fellows Program Fundraising Goal

October 2023
Over the last month, we have celebrated the remarkable news that two rising women leaders in South Florida were selected as part of the 2023-2024 IWF Leadership Fellows Program.  Francesca de Quesada Covey (Cesi) and Beth Garcia join an estimable cohort of women changing businesses and communities across the world. Their participation was only made possible by the generosity and advocacy of our members.

Thank you.

During this same month, we have been humbled by the support coming from our members to continue to advance the high potential women in our community via the IWF Leadership Fellows program.

First, a long-standing leader in our Forum shared that she has left the IWF Florida Fellows Scholarship in her estate plan.  Learning of her plans at our September Annual Meeting was extraordinary.  Including a nonprofit or social impact program alongside family members in the expression of legacy is so deeply personal and so profoundly appreciated by the recipient organization, and we are deeply grateful and profoundly moved.

Next, Sandi Finn offered $3,000 as a matching gift to close the $6,000 gap that remains in the fundraising for the 2025 IWF Florida Fellows Scholarship.  Again, a significant and moving show of support as we advance the next generation of women in South Florida. We are truly amazed at this generosity of spirit.

We are so grateful to these generous women and to all of our members who have supported the IWF Leadership Fellows Program with their time, talent and treasure.
